New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) Jamia Milia Islamia Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar on Friday said teachers should prepare students for a “perfect” society and fully develop the potentials of children.
"Development of children’s potentials and personalities are necessary to enable them to compete in various competitions in and outside Delhi," said Prof Akhtar during 2-hours interaction with students and teachers of various schools run by the university.
Stressing upon the need for educating girls she said gone are the days when girls even after passing 10th and 12th examination used to sit at home.
