Prepare roadmap to make J&K Police force future‑ready: LG Sinha

Srinagar, May 10 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday while speaking on the shifting landscape of internal security and called for the increased integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in policing operations, urged the Jammu and Kashmir Police to prepare a roadmap to make the force future ready.
Sinha after handing over Appointment Letters to the newly recruited Constables of Jammu Kashmir Police during a landmark presentation ceremony here at the Armed Police Complex, Zewan, extended heartiest congratulations to the new recruits and exhorted them to discharge their duties with absolute integrity, impartiality and unwavering commitment to national service.
Around 4000 recruits were selected through a transparent, merit-based process conducted by J&K Service Selection Board.

Srinagar, June 10 (UNI) J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting to review preparedness for the annual Amarnath Yatra, directing all departments to ensure timely completion of infrastructure, healthcare, sanitation, connectivity and other pilgrim-centric arrangements
The 56-day pilgrimage begins on July 3 and will conclude on August 28.

2 soldiers killed in accidental blast near LoC in Baramulla
