Pre-primary classes started in 3,740 schools : HP Minister

Kangra, Jan 29 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary on Wednesday said that the state government is progressing towards holistic education as such qualitative and modern education facility at the basic level is being provided.
Speaking at the annual prize distribution function at the Government Senior Secondary Schools at Charri and Rehlu today, she said that the state government has taken an innovative initiative in this direction by starting pre-primary classes in primary schools.
Ms Chaudhary said that pre-primary classes were started in 3740 government schools, in which 47000 children have been enrolled. This has given the parents the facility to send the children to school near their homes.
