Patna, Jul 27 (UNI) Noted filmmaker Prakash Jha would direct a biopic on the life of mathematician Dr Vashishtha Narayan Singh.

Biopics have become favourite of filmmakers in Bollywood these days.

The film would be produced by Peeti Sinha, Namrata Sinha and Amod Sinha.

Preeti Sinha told newspersons here today that Dr Singh, a renowned mathematician was presently suffering from Schizophrenia but he had once challenged the relative theory of Albert Einstein.

It is also said that when 31 computers had developed technical snags for sometime before the launch of NASA`s Apollo mission, his calculations matched with those of computer calculations after computers stared functioning normally.

Peeti Sinha said, names of actors would be announced after their confirmation.

To a query on shooting of the film in Bihar, she said it would be decided by Mr Jha. She said, Muhurat of the film would be held in Bihar.
