Prabhu launches Wi-Fi services at Patna, Ranchi, Visakhapatnam rly sts

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu inaugurated high speed Wi-Fi services at Patna, Ranchi and Visakhapatnam Railway Stations through video-conferencing from here today.
Mr Prabhu said as India was heading towards digitalisation, internet has become the basic need of every individual, adding that to bring the railway stations to world standard and keep pace with the latest technology, provision of high speed Wi-Fi was the first step in this direction.
So far this facility was provided at 19 stations which would be extended to 100 stations in the coming one year, Mr Prabhu added.
