Possible terror attack in Kerala, fishermen alerted

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 2 (UNI) An alert has been issued to fishing folk in Kerala following Intelligence reports that terrorists are likely to opt sea route to reach Kerala in the wake of tension prevailing at Indo-Pak border.
Following the Central intelligence report, the State Fisheries Department urged fishermen to keep utmost vigil on any suspecious movement in coastal areas, sources said here on Saturday.
The fishermen are requested to inform authorities about presence of submarines, which could spend more than 25-30 days underwater, and have to surface again to recharge its drained batteries.
