Positive decision soon on Kolhapur circuit bench: CJ Nandrajog

Kolhapur, Jul 20 (UNI) Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court Pradeep Nandrajog on Saturday said that he was positive for the setting up of a circuit bench in Kolhapur and he would take a decision on this long-pending demand, soon.
A Joint Action Committee (JAC) delegation, comprising six district lawyers, including from Sangli, Satara, Solapur, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Kolhapur, met CJ Nandrajog at his Chember in the Bombay HC in Mumbai, to discuss their long-pending demand.
Led by Advocate Ranjeet Gavde, JAC convenor and president of Kolhapur District Bar Association (KDBA), the delegation members gave a review report of their ongoing agitation, which had continued from the last 31 years. CJ Nandrajog told the delegation that he was positive for setting up a circuit bench of the Bombay HC in Kolhapur and he would take decision on this issue soon.
