Posing as PM's advisors swindled Rs 83L, arrested

Kolhapur (Maharashtra), June 20 (UNI) A man and a woman were arrested from Satara, Maharashtra, for cheating several people of at least Rs 83 lakh by claiming to be national advisors to the PM and promising to secure plump government tenders.
The Satara city police on Thursday revealed to the media that those arrested were identified as Kashmira Sandeep Pawar (28) and Ganesh Haribgau Gaikwad, both from Satara city.
They lured three people from the city, posing as national advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and promised to secure them tenders to provide cloths for the Lok Sabha Secretariat office and the Home Ministry besides the Uttar Pradesh government's and took a total Rs 83 lakh from them.
