Poshan Abhiyan and Tree Plantation programme organised by KVK South Tripura

Udaipur (Tripura), Sep 20 (UNI) KVK South Tripura organised a one day Nation Campaign on Poshan Abhiyan and Tree Plantation on 17th September 2021 in accordance with the celebration of Birthday of Hon. Prime Minister of India and “International Year of Millets 2023”.
The main focus of the programme was on Lecture on nutri-cereals and their role on human health -Role of plantation on sustainable agriculture & rural livelihood -Distribution of plants and seed packets of vegetables -Create awareness among masses through different activities. The importance of the programme discussed by all the dignitaries of the programme.
In this program Dr. Biswajit Debnath, Scientist and Head of KVK South Tripura, Sudip Majumder, Chairman of Bagma Agri Producer Company Limited (BAPCL), Dr. Sanjoy Roy, Scientist of KVK and Sangita Riyang, Nurse in-charge were present in the programme as guest where a total of about fifty girls student from different schools were actively participated in the programme along with farmers from different areas adjacent to KVK South Tripura District.

Kendrapara, Apr 25 (UNI)The Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary will be closed to tourists for three months from May 1st to July 31st, due to the breeding and nesting activities of Estuarine Crocodiles, DFO of Mangrove Forest Division (Wildlife) in Rajnagar, Sudarshan Gopinath Jadhav said on Thursday.
