Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Independence Day celebration here, Mr Barceira said, ''As you know, he (the Prime Minister) is of Goan and Indian origin. We, as a consulate, are very pleased to have him here.'' Mr Costa, a lawyer, assumed charge as Prime Minister of Portugal in November last year.
