Pongal celebrated at Rajnivas in Puducherry

Puducherry, Jan 14 (UNI) After Christmas, Pongal, the harvest festival was celebrated for the first time at Rajnivas, the official residence of Lt Governor Kiran Bedi.
According to an official statement, the celebration was held last evening with the Lt Governor inaugurating it.
The participants and performers were staff and their family members of Raj Nivas along with the villagers of TN Palayam. which is being supported by the Rajnivas. Students of the IOWA University, who were on a visit to Puducherry were the special invitees.
