Puducherry, Jul 2 (UNI) Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi on Thursday reiterated her appeal to both men and women to wear masks, adopt social distancing and sanitise themselves when they come out of their house and return.
In a whatsapp posting, the LG said precaution and prevention were safer than treatment because treatment may work may not work. The problems may re-occur till proper medicines were found and hence, people need to be alerted that prevention is safer.
According to the latest information, many women in homes were getting infected by their men who do not follow the guidelines when they go out. Men returning homes should take all precautions and ensure that they do not infect the aged, women or children in their homes. They should also have Arogya setu app downloaded in their phones, she said.
