Puducherry, Aug 9 (UNI) As many as 264 more persons were tested positive for the Coronavirus and seven died in the union territory in the last 24 hours ending at 1000 hrs on Sunday, leaving 2094 active cases here.
According to the COVID-19 status for Sunday released by the health department, 210 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 37 in Karaikal region and 17 in Yanam region.
63 of them were admitted to the government medical college, 69 to Jipmer, 78 to be admitted, 37 to Karaikal Government Hospital, and 17 to Yanam government hospital.
