Pompeo calls Taliban Deputy Mullah Baradar

Washington, Jun 30 (UNI) US Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo has met via video conference with Taliban Deputy and chief negotiator Mullah Baradar to discuss implementation of the US-Taliban Agreement, Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said on Tuesday.
The Secretary made clear the expectation for the Taliban to live up to their commitments, which include not attacking Americans.
