Police seizes large quantities of narcotics

Chandigarh, June 10 (UNI) Haryana Police on Friday seized over 184 kgs of Ganja patti and more than 2.13 lakh intoxicating capsules from four drug peddlers in Palwal district.
Sharing this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that in the first case, the police seized 184 kgs and 550 gram of ganja patti, hidden inside a septic tank attached to a tractor, which was being illegally transported from Visakhapatnam.
The Police team, after getting an input about the smuggling of narcotics in the septic tank attached with the tractor that was being piloted by a car, intercepted the vehicles at a Naka. The search of the septic tank led to the seizure of five plastic bags containing the contraband weighing about 179 kgs. The remaining five kgs of Ganja patti was recovered from the car.
