Police rescue 48 child labourers from clutch of middlemen

Muzaffarpur, Jul 17 (UNI) Police arrested 11 middlemen and freed 48 children being taken to Mumbai from local railway station today.
Rail Police Superintendent B N Jha said here that a joint team of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Government Railway Police (GRP) rescued 48 child labourers from the clutch of middlemen at platform number one of Muzaffarpur railway station following a tip-off.
He said rescued children were natives of Bettiah and Motihari.
