Police register suo moto cases against Owasi, Sanjay for alleged provocative speeches

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (UNI) SR Nagar police have registered suo moto cases against AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and BJP Telangana Unit President Bandi Sanjay for making alleged provocative speeches during the GHMC election campaign.
Both the leaders were booked under section 505 of the IPC, according to SR Nagar police here on Saturday.
During the recent campaign, Mr Owaisi termed the memorials of PV Narasimha Rao (Gnan Bhoomi) and NT Rama Rao (NTR Ghat) constructed along the Necklace Road abutting Hussain Sagar as encroachments and demanded their removal.
