Police recovers 6-yr-old's body from Agra canal; arrests accused

New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) A body of six-year-old child was recovered from the Agra canal, who was thrown by his intoxicated father into the canal from Khadar Puliya, police said on Sunday.
According to the police sources, ''a call was received at Jaitpur police station on Saturday at 2210 hrs, regarding a man throwing his six-year-old child into the Agra canal from Khadar Puliya.''
''The rescue operations were under progress since morning. But in the afternoon, the body of child was recovered from the canal,'' police said.
