Police destroys 700 jaggery wash, two held in AP

Ongole, Aug 5 (UNI) The police destroyed 700 litres of jaggery wash meant for brewing illicit liquor at Gadikota village in Giddalur mandal in Prakasham district and arrested two people.
Police said that a police team conducted a raid and found 700 litres of fermented jaggery wash, meant for distilling illicit liquor, stocked in drums.
Meanwhile, the police seized liquor bottles worth Rs eight lakh when they were being transported illegally at Turimella village in Kambham mandal in the district.
