Police conduct searches at JKNOP linked locations across Baramulla to strengthen security grid

Srinagar, July 10 (UNI) J&K Police on Friday carried out coordinated searches at multiple locations across Baramulla district linked to Jammu and Kashmir Nationals Operating from Pakistan (JKNOPs), stepping up efforts to dismantle cross-border terror networks and reinforce the security grid.
Police said they conducted searches at the residential houses of 23 JKNOPs, their family residences, other associated structures, and the houses of close associates within the jurisdiction of Police Station Kunzer.
The searches were undertaken to ascertain any recent developments, identify possible communication with handlers from across the border, gather evidence relevant to ongoing investigations, and assess any activities that may pose a threat to the security of the area, police said
