Police books teenager for raping minor repeatedly

Kolhapur, Nov 12 (UNI) A teenager was booked on Tuesday on the alleged charge of repeatedly raping his female minor cousin, during the past eight months.
Quoting the victim, Assistant Inspector D T Jaujal said the first instance of the crime occurred in the month of March, when the 16-year-old accused raped his distant relative at Aurnal village of Gadhinglaj tehsil.
Later, the accused repeated his immoral act by intimidating the girl, a seventh-class student.
Recently, when the girl complained of stomach pain, it was discovered at the hospital that she was eight months pregnant.
Based on the complaint, the accused has been booked under IPC Section 376. No arrest has been made yet as further investigation was underway, he added.

Nashik records the largest number of corona recoveries

Nashik, Aug 7 (UNI) The Nashik district on Friday witnessed the biggest recovery of COVID-19 cases till date.
On Friday 681 cases people recovered and were discharged from hospitals in the district. This is for the first time that so many cases recovered and discharged in a single day in the district. On the other hand 503 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the district while 7 people succumbed to COVID-19 on Friday.
