Police arrest 9 for IPL betting

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) With the arrest of nine people, Delhi police claimed to have busted a cricket betting racket that was being run from a five star hotel in north west Delhi's Rohini area of the city and recovered laptops, mobile phones, note sheets and other materials from them.
"On receiving tip-off that a five star hotel room in Rohini area was booked for carrying betting racket for the final match of IPL, yesterday a raid was conducted and nine persons (Kunal Miglani, Sumit Kalra, Jitender Kumar, Nitin Harjani, Nikhil Goswami , Amit Kumar Dhingra, Sumit Sharma, Rajesh Jain and Naveen Kumar) were apprehended, " a police official said today.
During the raid, the official said that they found running betting racket by using mobile phones, laptops and live cricket match was running on one LED screen.
