Police arrest 6 gamblers, seize stake money in Bandipora

Srinagar, Oct 29 (UNI) Police on Thursday arrested six gamblers and seized stake money from them in north Kashmir district of Bandipora.

A police spokesperson said that following specific information, a joint police party from Police Post Nowgam and Police Station Sumbal raided a gambling site in Check Ganastan in Bandipora. “Police arrested six gamblers, including Mohammad Maqbool Naikoo, Syed Reyaz Shah, Imtiyaz Hussain Ganaie, Mohammad Qasim Dar, all residents of Nowgam Sumbal, Mohammad Shafi Bhat, resident of Zaripora Tergam and Mohammad Haneef Dar residents of Gund Khalil Trigam,” he said.
