Police arrest 13 persons in connection with group clash

Vijayawada, June 5 (UNI) The police arrested 13 persons in connection with the group clash in which one person was killed and another was critically injured.
Informing this at a press conference here on Friday, Commissioner of police Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said that two groups clashed with weapons for a piece of 7 cents of land at Patamata here on May 30 in which Thota Sandip, who was leading a group, was killed and K Manikanta, who was leading another group, was critically injured.
The CP said that six teams were formed led by ACP Harshavardhan to investigate and arrest the accused. The police arrested Repalle Prasad, Akula Ravi Teja, Prem Kumar, Prabhu Kumar and Bonath Srinu Naik on June 4 th and arrested another 8 members of the gang on Friday.
