PNB and MSRLM Sign MoU to Boost Financial Inclusion and Rural Livelihoods in Manipur

Imphal, Sep 8 (UNI) In a significant step towards promoting financial inclusion and strengthening rural livelihoods, the Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) and Punjab National Bank (PNB) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the New Secretariat in Imphal.
The agreement aims to facilitate the opening of savings accounts for Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and provide them with improved credit linkages. The MoU was signed in the presence of N. Bandana Devi, IAS, State Mission Director, MSRLM, and Vinay Kumar, Zonal Manager, PNB Zonal Office Guwahati.
Speaking at the event, Vinay Kumar reaffirmed PNB’s commitment to supporting the Lakhpati Didi initiative under MSRLM, a program designed to empower women SHG members to achieve sustainable income levels. “PNB is proud to be a partner in this initiative and will work closely with potential Lakhpati Didis to help them reach their economic goals,” he stated.
