PM to inaugurate Sela Tunnel on Mar 9

Itanagar, Feb 25 (UNI) The much-awaited Sela Tunnel, the world’s longest twin-lane tunnel located in Arunachal Pradesh’s West Kameng district will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 9 next.
This was informed by Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein while attending the Nyokum festival celebration at New Pitapool under Yachuli Circle in Lower Subansiri district on Monday.
The Sela tunnel - the foundation of which was laid by Prime Minister Modi on February 9, 2019 - will provide all-weather connectivity to the border district of Tawang.
