PM to inaugurate 'Make in India' week in Mumbai on Feb 13
Mumbai, Feb 6 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 'Make in India' week on February 13, at the MMRDA ground, Bandra-Kurla complex here. The exhibition has been organised by the department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Union government, in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra and CII, official sources said today. In view of the mega event, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Minister of state for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman will be holding pre-event conference as curtain raiser on Monday at the same venue. This is a prestigious international event, which will be showcasing India’s potential in the design, innovation and manufacturing, as part of Prime Minister’s ‘Make In India’ initiative. Four to five heads of states government, Chief Ministers of several states, Union Ministers, a large number of government departments and facilitator organizations, industry bodies and leading corporates will be participating. The Prime Minister will address a gathering of high-profile guests comprising political leaders, policy makers, industrialists, R and D heads and others in the evening on February 13 at the National Sports Club of India, Worli, Mumbai, sources added.
