PM's statement on Muslim youth reflects his narrow thinking: Cong

New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) Slamming the remarks by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Muslim youth have Quran in one hand and computer in the other, the Congress on Thursday said that associating knowledge of technology with religion reflected Mr Modi's narrow thinking .
Talking to reporters here, AICC media incharge Randeep Surjewala said,''It is unfortunate that Mr Modi is assessing the knowledge of science based on religion , I want to ask him if the youth of Hindu, Jain, Sikh or Christian religion should not have knowledge of computers.
In today's times, everyone has to move towards modernity. Being aware of of information technology and its mastery is the need of the hour.. However, Mr Modi assessing knowledge of technology based on religion reflects his narrow mindset .''
