PM on two day Gujarat visit from tomorrow

New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay two day visit in Gujarat from tomorrow, during which he will lay foundation stone for four National Highway projects, worth Rs. 5825 crore at Dwarka. He is scheduled to address five public meetings during the visit. The Prime Minister will return to Delhi on the evening of October 8th, an official release said. Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Nitin Gadkari and his junior minister Mansukh L Mandavia, who is also holding the Chemicals & Fertilizer portfolio, will accompany the Prime Minister. This is Mr Modi's second visit in a span of three weeks to the poll bound state Gujarat, He visited the state on September 17 to attend various programs including the inauguration of Sardar Sarovar Dam. The Prime Minister will visit the Dwarkadheesh Temple tomorrow morning. At Dwaraka he will lay the foundation for construction of Rs. 962 crores Cable Stayed Signature Bridge between Beyt Dwarka and Okha on NH-51. He will lay foundation of 1600 crore's 4 laning of 116.24 km of Porbandar-Dwarka section of NH-51, 370 crore's 2/4 laning of 93.56 km of Gadu-Porbandar section of NH-51, 2893 crore's six laning of 201.31 km Ahmedabad-Rajkot section of NH-47 and NH-27, the release said. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stones for a greenfield airport at Rajkot. He will also dedicate a fully automatic milk processing and Packaging plant and a drinking water distribution pipeline in Surendranagar. The Prime Minister will inaugurate a newly constructed building of IIT Gandhinagar and will launch the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA), programme to imparting digital literacy in rural areas. On 8th the Mr Modi will visit the Hatkeshwar Temple in Vadnagar. The Prime Minister will launch the Intensified Mission Indradhanush at a public rally, aimed to accelerate the progress of immunaisation coverage to all. He will distribute e-tablets to health workers to mark the launch of ImTeCHO, an innovative mobile phone application to improve performance of ASHAs. On the 8th afternoon the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for Bhadhut Barrage, to be built over the Narmada River. He will flag off the Antyodaya Expres between Surat's Udhna and Bihar's Jaynagar. He will inaugurate various plants of Gujarat Narmada Fertilizer Corporation, the release said. UNI KNA SHK 2107
