PM Modi wishes Sheikh Hasina on Yoga Day

Dhaka, June 20 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a congratulatory message to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
In the message, Mr Modi said, in 2014, the United Nations recognized June 21 as International Yoga Day. This year, Yoga Day will be celebrated for the seventh time worldwide. However, like last year, the day has come in the time of Covid-19 pandemic.
"Our warriors are fighting this epidemic against Covid. There has been positive progress against the epidemic since the International Yoga Day last year. Medical science has understood the nature of this virus. We are protecting the people through several vaccines to fight the epidemic. I am hopeful that very soon humanity will be victorious against the epidemic," he said.
