PM Modi's austerity call: Delhi Min Verma rides bicycle to event, Mishra drives EV to secretariat

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Leading by example, Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma on Friday was seen riding a bicycle from his home to the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) office, in an effort to translate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s fuel conservation call into action.
Cycling in the bright sun, he reached the NDMC office to attend an important meeting.
While speaking on the sidelines, he said, “The Prime Minister’s message is the need of the hour. The more we save today, the more secure our future will be.”
