Varanasi, Nov 10 (UNI) In the coming week after Diwali festival, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat would be in temple city of Baba Vishwanath to sharpen BJP's edge for the coming Lok Sabha polls.
Though there is no official schedule of meeting between Mr Bhagwat and the PM, sources said here on Saturday that anything can happen.
While the RSS chief would reach here on Sunday for six-day long Pracharak Varg conference, Mr Modi would be visiting his Parliamentary constituency for a day on Monday to lay foundation and inaugurate several developmental projects worth over Rs 2400 crore.
Sources here said that the RSS meeting would be held at a private college premises in Harhua area of the city where several senior RSS functionaries, including Bhaiyyajee Joshi, Manmohan Vaidya, Dattatreya Hosbole and others, would be present for six days.
On the other hand, the PM, during his five-hour-long visit to his constituency, will also address a public meeting in the presence of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Preparation was on for a red carpet welcome for PM in his constituency on Monday when he will flag off the waterways cargo service, for the first time, in the country.
The function would be held at the newly-constructed Multi Model Terminal at Ramnagar where container cargo ship Ravindra Nath Tagore would be flagged off by Mr Modi in presence of the UP Chief Minister and Mr Gadkari.
The cargo ship has already reached Varanasi in a record 10 days on Friday from Kolkata, covering 1,318 kilometers carrying 16 containers of a multi-national company.
The new Multi Model Terminal has been constructed at a cost of Rs 201 crore which will also have two helipads and other facilities.
Mr Adityanath reviewed the preparation on the projects to be launched by the PM on Thursday-Friday and has expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements made by the authorities.
