PM Modi congratulates Australian PM-elect Anthony Albanese for Labor Party win

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated Australian PM-designate Anthony Albanese, leader of the Labor Party, for his party's win in the general elections and said he looks forward to working with him to strengthen the strategic ties. The two leaders would be meeting in Tokyo on Tuesday for the Quad summit and also for the bilateral talks.
In a tweet, he said:
“Congratulations @AlboMP for the victory of the Australian Labor Party, and your election as the Prime Minister!
