PM Modi arrives at Abu Dhabi for strong bilateral ties

Abu Dhabi, Aug 23 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday arrived at Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a bid to enhance the bilateral ties between New Delhi and Abu Dhabi.
This is his second leg of his tri-nation tour after France.
This is his third visit to UAE in last four years.
The prime minister will be accorded with the UAE’s highest national award- the order of Zayed.
On Saturday, he is due to hold talks with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
Mr Modi will also launch the Rupay Card at Emirates Palace and also release a stamp to commemorate the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.
In April, UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan had announced to confer thr highest award on PM Modi in recognition of the pivotal role played by him in enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries to the level of comprehensive strategic relations.
He will leave for Bahrain on Saturday evening as part of his last leg of his tri-nation tour.
