PM has made impossible as possible: Yogi

Gorakhpur, Dec 5(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed on Sunday that PM Narendra Modi has made the impossible possible in the country.

He said that what was impossible for the opposition, PM Modi has made it possible whereas the opposition treated it only as a vote bank till now.

The CM said that Eastern Uttar Pradesh is going to be remembered in golden letters in the pages of history from the point of view of development of the region.

PM Narendra Modi, will give development works worth about Rs 10,000 crore to eastern UP. The Prime Minister will inaugurate a fertilizer factory worth Rs 8603 crore and the first AIIMS of eastern Uttar Pradesh set up Gorakhpur with a cost of Rs 1011 crore along with a Hi-Tech Lab of RMRC at a cost of Rs 36 crore.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a press conference here on Sunday at the Gorakshnath temple, informed about the visit of the PM in Gorakhpur on December 7.

CM Yogi said that the PM is coming to fulfill the dreams of eastern Uttar Pradesh, which had been negated by the failures of the previous governments.

The inauguration of three big projects at the hands of the PM is the biggest investment so far from the point of view of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The PM has provided these projects for the welfare of farmers, women, youth, children and for the upliftment of the entire region in the wider public interest.

CM Yogi said that the fertilizer factory of the Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCI) was closed in 1990. Many governments came, assurances were given but for 26 years only hands were raised. Due to this, the farmers were not only affected but the life and development of the common citizens was also adversely affected. Employment stopped. It seemed only a dream that the fertilizer factory would run again. But, now this dream has come true.

"The Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of a new fertilizer factory in Gorakhpur in 2016 and it is ready within the time limit. PM Modi will dedicate the fertilizer factory of Hindustan Fertilizers and Rasayan Limited to the nation on December 7, " he said.

The Chief Minister informed that more than 12 lakh metric tonnes of urea would be produced annually from this fertilizer factory. Due to this, not only will the supply of fertilizers and chemicals to the farmers will be on time, there will also be a lot of employment opportunities, he added.

Mr Modi also gave an AIIMS in 2016 to make eastern Uttar Pradesh fight diseases efficiently and this AIIMS is now ready in Gorakhpur. People will now be able to get world class specialised medical facilities. PM Modi will also inaugurate AIIMS on December 7.

He said that for a long time there was no proper system for identification of vector borne diseases like encephalitis, dengue. Samples were sent to Pune. But, now hi-tech labs have been constructed in the Regional Center RMRC (Regional Medical Council of Research) located at BRD Medical College of the Indian Council of Medical Research. Advance research here for the investigation and treatment of viruses up to Encephalitis, Kala-azar, Chikungunya, Dengue and Corona will now start here. Its foundation stone was laid by the then Union Health Minister in 2018 and PM Modi will inaugurate it on Tuesday.

CM Yogi said that along with eastern Uttar Pradesh, the large population of Bihar and Nepal will also be greatly benefited by the three projects going to be inaugurated by PM Modi.

He said that more than Rs 8,600 crore has been spent on the construction of fertilizer factory spread over 600 acres. AIIMS has been built on 112 acres, at a cost of Rs 1,011 crores and RMRC labs have cost about Rs 36 crores.
