New Delhi, Jul 5 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party leader Ram Vilas Paswan on his birthday, saying his administrative acumen and insight on key policy issues were "a major asset for the government".
"Best wishes to my senior Cabinet colleague Ram Vilas Paswan Ji. Paswan Ji's administrative experience and insight on key policy issues are a major asset for our Government," Mr Modi wrote on Twitter.
Praying for his health and longevity, the PM's message further said Mr Paswan's "contribution towards social justice is immense."
However, Mr Paswan, who turns 73, has said he would not be celebrating his birthday in memory of the 20 Indian soldiers who died in last month's faceoff with Chinese soldiers.
