PM encouraging women from space to sports: Smriti Irani

Lucknow, Sep 26 (UNI) Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has encouraged women to move forward in every field from space to sports.
Addressing the employment fair organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Irani said, "India is the only country in the world which has worshipped both Shiva and Shakti equally. This is the culture of India."
She said, "PM Modi had said that the first constitutional resolution at the beginning of the new Parliament is to pay tribute to women power by offering 33 percent reservation to the women and sisters of the nation. This is the culture of the PM. After the passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, now a woman belonging to any class or community can lead the country. The PM has encouraged women to move forward in every field from space to sports."
