PM congratulates students who cleared CBSE class 12 exams

New Delhi, May 2 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated the young students who passed the Central Board of Secondary Education Class XII examinations and wished them best for their future endeavours.
'Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed the CBSE Class XII examinations. My best wishes to them for their endeavours,' Mr Modi said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
He congratulated the parents also for supporting their children.
'Kudos also to their parents and teachers for the valuable support,' he said.
The CBSE declared Class 12th Board results with pass percentage at 83.40 per cent, an increase of 0.39 per cent from last year's 83.01 per cent.
Girls secured 88.70 pass percentage while boys got 79.40 per cent while Transgenders pass percentage stood at 83.33 per cent.
