PM condemns attack at Kabul University

New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday condemned the attack on Kabul University, saying that India will continue to support Afghanistan's brave struggle against terrorism.
'I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack at Kabul University today. Our prayers are with the families of the victims and the injured,' the Prime Minister posted on social media.
At least 19 people were killed and 22 others injured, as a group of militants attacked Kabul University earlier in the day.
"We will continue to support Afghanistan's brave struggle against terrorism", Mr Modi said further.
The Afghan Presidential Palace has accused the Taliban of launching the attack, although the militant organisation has denied any involvement.
Senior Afghan politicians, including chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah, have condemned the brutal attack.
