Medinipur/ Bishnupur/Purulia, May 19 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the June 4 results are decided and appealed to the
electorate to strike hard on May 25 ensuring the return of Modi Sarkar at the Centre and the imminent end of the TMC government's
alleged appeasement policy in West Bengal.
" The TMC has lost the battle of democracy, and that's why they want to win with the help of goons. However, people of Bengal should not
worry. TMC syndicates are afraid because they all know the results of June 4, " Modi said while addressing electioneering for BJP candidate
Agni Mitra Paul (Kharagpur) and Hironmoy Chatterjee from Ghatal, also in Medinipur.
Modi alleged the TMC was regularly insulting Hindu society and the Hindu faith for her appeasement vote bank politics and recently accused ISKCON, Rama Krishna Mission, and Bharat Sevashram of working in BJP's interest in Lok Sabha election.
Modi said" Bengal is determined to elect a strong government at the Centre. And that's why, from every corner of West Bengal only one tune is
being heard, 'Phir ek baar Modi sarkar'" amid chanting of Jay Shree Ram from the massive gathering under tremendous heat wave conditions with temperatures hovering over 40 degrees Celsius.
PM Narendra Modi said "TMC has lost the battle of democracy, and that's why they want to win with the help of goons. However, people of
Bengal should not worry. TMC syndicates are afraid because they all know the results of June 4,"
" Under the TMC government, the Indians are outsiders and the infiltrators are its people for which the demography of West
Bengal is being changed and the Hindu people are being a minority in many places across the state," the PM warned and said he would not let it
happen to jeopardise social harmony in his lifetime.
" I wondered not a single word against a TMC MLA who has threatened to drown all the Hindus in the Bhagirathi river from the party's top
leadership instead they are orchestrating to shield the perpetrators, including Sahjahan Sheikh after being accused of torturing the women of the
Sandeshkhali," Modi said while citing Mamata Banerjee's appeasement policy for her vote banks, including that of infiltrators.
" The infiltrators are threats to the state," Modi said and warned he would not allow it to happen if the BJP candidates were voted to Lok
Sabha to strengthen the hands of his NDA government.
Earlier, addressing election rallies in Purulia and Bankura, Modi said that he was convinced that Banerjee has started attacking Sadhu Santh Samaj under pressure from the hardcore Muslims, referring to the TMC supremo's criticizing a section of ISKCON, Rama Krishna Mission, and Bharat Sevashram monks for allegedly aiding the BJP in the elections.
The PM said after the Opposition vote jihad against Modi, now the TMC started attacking the Sadhu Santh Samaj for her appeasement
policy for support to the infiltrators.
The PM alleged he was convinced. that Mamata Banerjee's attack on the " Sadhu Santh Samaj" was a fallout of pressure
from the hardcore Muslims and said this was not acceptable to the countrymen regarding abuse of ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, and Bharat Sevashram,.
which are not only institutions reputed in Bengal but also around the world for their humanitarian work.
PM Modi reiterated that after June 4, the day the Lok Sabha results will be out, " Action against the corrupt people will be taken
sternly and their places would be in the jails."
He also said the corrupt people would go to jail and their property will be auctioned and the proceeds will be distributed among the
people, who have been cheated by the government Ministers.
" We are considering the legal formalities on how to give back money of those looted by the jailed ministers, " Modi said.
Modi attacked the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government over Sandeshkhali issue, stating that the party is "devouring Maa, Maati and Manush".
Modi slammed Banerjee for her alleged threat to ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, and Bharat Sevashram Sangh and said the countrymen would not pardon the TMC leader for her open warning to these institutions, known around the world for their services to humanity.
He emphasised the failures of the INDI alliance and the commitment of the BJP toward the development and uplift of the region.
The Prime Minister outlined the significant discrepancies between the promises made by the TMC and their actions, particularly highlighting issues related to water scarcity, reservations, and corruption.
Addressing the issue of reservations, PM Modi accused the INDI alliance of attempting to undermine the rights of Dalits, backward classes, and tribals.
He said, "TMC and its allies want to take away the reservations given to Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. Babasaheb Ambedkar was against reservations based on religion. But today, the INDI alliance wants to provide reservations based on religion."
PM Modi warned that such actions, including the reallocation of OBC quota reservations to Muslims in Karnataka, pose a threat to the established reservation system.
PM Modi expressed concern over incidents like the one in Sandeshkhali, where he alleged that TMC members were involved in crimes against women, particularly from SC/ST communities."The crime in Sandeshkhali has forced the sisters of Bengal to think. TMC people do not even consider the sisters of SC/ST families as human," Modi remarked.
He urged the women of Bengal to respond to such injustices through their votes.
The Prime Minister strongly condemned the corruption within TMC and Congress, drawing parallels between the two parties.
"Whether it is TMC or Congress, they are two sides of the same coin. Look at how mountains of cash are found with Congress Ministers and MPs. Similarly, mountains of cash are found with TMC leaders and ministers," he stated.
“When Swami Vivekananda went abroad and spoke about India, lakhs of people became his devotees. But there was also a section that hated India. They insulted Swami Vivekananda and tried to intimidate him. But Swami Vivekananda was on a mission for Mother India and was not one to be scared. Today, a similar situation is happening on the soil of Bengal. The TMC government, which instigates fear, intimidation, and violence during elections, has crossed all limits this time,” said PM Modi underlining TMC’s intentions and its governance model.
In his closing statement, PM Modi called upon the people of Bengal to make a decisive choice in the upcoming elections and urged them to spread the message of development and integrity.
"The people of Bengal have made up their minds to clean TMC this time. The trends are already beginning to show this," he declared. Emphasizing the significance of the upcoming elections, he said, "The country will develop when Bengal develops. Every vote cast for the lotus will directly strengthen Modi."
