Plumber held, 20 stolen mobiles recovered

Kendrapara, Oct 14 (UNI) A plumber from Chandiagada village under Aul Police station was arrested by Police personnel from Aul and Hyderabad and seized 20 stolen mobile phones worth more than Rs 6 lakh from his possession.
Aul Police station IIC Salil Kumar Pradhan said one Rabindra Das was arrested last night during a joint raid by the Ramgopalpet police personnel of Hyderabad and Aul.
Rabindra Das was later produced before the local court and the Ramgopalpet police personnel took him with them on remand as per the court order.

Two kg of heroin seized near the Myanmar border in Mizoram

Aizawl, Mar 28(UNI) In one of the most significant seizures to date, the Mizoram Excise & Narcotics Department intercepted a car on the highway connecting Champhai to the border town of Zokhawthar and seized 2.475 KG of heroin from near the Myanmar border in the eastern region of Mizoram's Champhai district on Thursday.
