Piyush Goyal will lead business-delegation to Spain, Belgium and Finland to strengthen economic relations across Europe

New Delhi, Jul 12 (UNI) Seeking to boost economic partnership across Europe, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will lead a high-level business delegation to Spain, Belgium, and Finland from July 13-17.
According to the Commerce Ministry, the delegation comprises leading Indian companies across key sectors, including advanced manufacturing, clean energy, digital technologies, gems and jewellery, food processing, healthcare, and design.
On July 13 in Spain, the Minister will participate in a business roundtable with the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, CEOE, and ICEX Spain Trade & Investment. It will bring together Spanish and Indian Industry leaders to explore opportunities in sectors such as automobile, renewable energy, railways, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, food processing, and tourism.
Between July 14-15 in Belgium, Goyal will hold CEO-level meetings with Alain Queverin of Thales Group and Jean-Christophe Bogaert of Silox Group. The India-EU business roundtable and TTC plenary will further focus on foreign direct investment opportunities, trade facilitation, sustainable technologies, and resilient supply chains.
In the last leg of the Europe journey, which is Finland, the Minister will participate in the India-Finland Business roundtable, in which he will engage with Finnish companies on digitalisation, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and circular economy.
These visits position India as a strategic partner for innovation, manufacturing, and sustainability.
