Physically-challenged littérature, translator Sonali Navangul selected for Sahitya Akademi's award for translation

Kolhapur, Sep 18 (UNI) City-based senior littérature and translator Sonali Navangul has been selected for Sahitya Akademi's award of 2020 for translation of a Tamil novel in Marathi.
In a meeting of Sahitya Akademi's working committee, held in Delhi under guidance of its president Chandrasekhar Kumbhar, total 24 books have been selected for award, including 'Madhyratriche Taas' (midnight's hours) in Marathi language, which was translated by Ms Navangul from original Tamil novel written by Ms Salma.
The award comprises a cash purse of Rs 50,000 and a plaque.
