Six pilgrims killed in fatal road accident in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, May 22 (UNI) At least six persons, including women and children of a family, were killed and four others injured on Friday after a speeding private bus rammed into an auto-rickshaw in which the ill-fated victims were travelling to a shakthi shrine, near Ladakapalli traffic junction under Purushottampur police station jurisdiction in Odisha's Ganjam district. The occupants of the overloaded auto-rickshaw were on a pilgrimage trip to Maa Singhasini shrine when the fatal road accident took place, allegedly due to reckless driving on the part of the bus driver.
