As many as 391 service personnel from Army, Navy, DSC, Territorial Army were returned to their original bases, after the relentless ten-day rescue and search operation services at Wayanad landslide disaster areas since July 31. 225 people were officially dead and 195 human body parts were recovered from Mundakkai, Chooralmala landslide hit areas and Chaliyar rivers by the rescue workers, but the unconfirmed reports said the total death of over 400 people, so far.
