Healthcare, education spending investment in state's progress, not free welfare: Bhatti

Hyderabad, Jul 17 (UNI) Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday said government spending on healthcare and education should be viewed as an investment in human resources and the State's future, rather than as free welfare. Speaking after distributing appointment letters to 247 Nursing Officers under the Insurance Medical Services (IMS) Department at Sevalal Bhavan, along with Labour Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy, Bhatti said the government had brought revolutionary changes in healthcare, education and employment, filling a record 76,000 government jobs since assuming office.
