Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 2 2016 10:58PM Phom Nagas submit memo to Gov, CM for devKohima, Oct 2 (UNI) Phom Peoples’ Council (PPC), the apex official body of Phom Naga tribe, today sought immediate intervention of the Governor and the Chief Minister for restoration of water supply and road connectivity to Longleng district.In a statement, the Phom Peoples’ Council informed that a delegation of PPC, led by its President P Chingan Phom and General Secretary P Changlong Phom, had submitted a memorandum to state Governor P B Acharya on Friday, as well as to Chief Minister T R Zeliang. In a memorandum, PPC reminded that Longleng town was established in 1950 and subsequently upgraded to a full-fledged revenue district in 2004.
