PFI office-bearer held in Lucknow

Lucknow, Aug 7 (UNI) An office-bearer of the Popular Front of India (PFI) was arrested in the state capital for trying to spread disturbance in a community by putting up provocative posts about the Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya on Friday.
Police sources said that police arrested PFI's Media In-charge Abdul Majid from the Islamnagar area of Kakori. Majid, who originally hails from Delhi, has been accused of putting up provocative messages on social media following the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony in Ayodhya.
Police have arrested him under sections of the IT Act. Police have also found a post related to Kashmir on his social media account.
