People worldwide should protect their mother tongue: Vidayasagar Rao

Hyderabad, Feb 21 (UNI) Former Maharastra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao on Friday emphasized that the people worldwide should take necessary steps to protect their mother tongue.

Speaking at a programme held here on the occasion of “ International Mother Language Day”, Mr Rao said that no one could not be a knowledgeable person without knowing their mother tongue. “ I will work hard to protect Telugu language until my death”, he said.
