People teach lesson in first opportunity to those who backstab mandate: Modi

Barhi, Dec 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on the Congress party and said that the party has an old habit of snatching away the mandate of the people from the back door and also accused the party of using its allies as 'Kathputlis' (puppets).
Addressing an election rally here he said what the country was thinking about the political stability in the country and their faith on the BJP has come out before the people. He pointed the results of by-polls which was held in Karnataka and said that the people of Karnataka have taught a lesson to those who had exploited the people and had snatched the mandate given by the people but their intentions have been destroyed by the people of Karnataka.
Mr Modi said that BJP was winning the majority of those seats in Karnataka and thanked the people of the state for voting for stability and development. He said that BJP is also winning on such seats which it has never won in the last 70 years. "People are angry with those who backstabbed their mandate," he said that adding that in one or two seats even small-time workers who have been fielded have defeated the big leaders of the Congress and JD-S. He said that the results in Karnataka were the victory of Janmat and Loktantra.
He said that people of Karnataka had given the mandate to the BJP but the Congress and its allies cheated and backstabbed the people and came into power. He said that Congress and its ally despite coming into power for one year kept on fighting with each other as the welfare of the people was never on their agenda. Mr Modi said that HD Kumarswamy was shown the gun of the majority by the Congress and was asked to do this and do that for Delhi due to which he used to cry among the people. Mr Modi said that even the kidnappers do such type of behaviour with the kidnapped what Congress did to Kumarswamy.
"The people gave reply to the Congress and JD-S by pressing the symbol of Lotus as if someone goes against the mandate of the people than at the first opportunity people give them the punishment," he said adding that the Congress party has never followed the coalition dharna and has the habit of using its allies as per its needs and as a Kathputli.
